General Partner of Neo Technology Ventures and Executive Chairman of Fortune Group Australia, Brett founded three strategy and business development firms through which he accrued broad-based experience working with several hundred businesses, ranging from small start-ups to global Fortune 50 corporations, and spanning more than forty different industries. Brett has three decades of significant management consulting, business turn-around and technology investment experience.

Brett has also been directly involved as an investor in the equity investment and management of twelve early-stage Australian companies focused on commercializing innovative Australian technology in global markets. This has involved the evaluation of over 1,200 small business investment propositions, the conduct of due diligence on potential investment prospects, the negotiation and structuring of forty plus rounds of investment financing

and the ongoing management and exit of various investee companies, including the support that goes with being a director on numerous different boards.

Brett’s management consulting, business development and investment experience spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US has also involved the evaluation and execution of business and sales strategies, business models and processes, market and channel strategies, operating structures, executive team recruitment and support, and the migration of early-stage businesses into offshore markets. He is an active venture capital investor with globally focused entrepreneurs.

Brett has a background in earth sciences and graduated with a B.Sc from the University of Auckland (Geology major).
